Szymon Huberband (1909-1942), archivist. During the nazi occupation of the Warsaw ghetto, he described the atrocities which he personally witnessed in a document written in Yiddish. In August 1942, he was deported to the concentration camp at Treblinka where he was subsequently murdered.
